Happy February! This month is my favorite month of the year.
By this point I am fully transitioned into the new year, we've got Valentine's Day, Galentine's Day, and two very important birthdays...mine on the 20th and my daughter's on the 22nd (yep - 2 days, and 27 years, apart).
Last year (2021), I've began pivoting my business to be focused a bit less on yoga and more on health coaching...but yoga is still a very strong part of my personal life and my business.
The three pillars of UPLIFT Healthy Lifestyle are Nutrition, Movement and Self-care. Yoga falls under two of these pillars...so of course it's still important! I help give women the tools to nourish their bodies (without diets or deprivation), move their bodies in ways that work for them, and care for themselves so they can have maximum energy and confidence to live the life they want.
Through the transition and defining the healthy lifestyle pillars, I've been spending a lot more time learning and practicing self-care. When we rolled into February I decided I wanted to offer a self-care practice that helps others to feel good about themselves...beyond that, really. I want you to hone in on loving yourself.
I want to help you make time for yourself so you can recharge and move forward stronger.
And so, the 7-day Self-Love Challenge was created!
Over the next seven days, you'll focus on different topics that lead to more self-love.

DAY 1: BELIEVE IN YOURSELF
It's time to stop repeating those thoughts and clinging to those limiting beliefs that are holding you back.
This practice includes a yoga flow and ends with a guided meditation to release limiting beliefs.
DAY 2: CONNECT WITH YOURSELF
Start releasing shame that is causing you to disconnect and feel less than worthy.
Today we start with a yoga flow and ends with a balancing breathing exercise to bring you back to a neutral space.
DAY 3: ACCEPT YOURSELF
Tap into your vulnerability, show yourself compassion and replace self-judgement with self-acceptance.
This practice begins with a yoga flow and winds down with an affirmation exercise to boost your feelings of worthiness.
DAY 4: FORGIVE YOURSELF
We are all perfect as we are. Discover grace and gratitude for both your strengths and "imperfections."
Today we have a heart-opening yoga flow and a loving kindness meditation to bring more compassion and gratitude towards yourself.
DAY 5: BE KIND TO YOURSELF
You wouldn't talk to your mother like that! It's time to change the way you talk to yourself.
This practice includes more heart-opening poses and a focus on changing our self-talk. We close with a self-love mantra.
DAY 6: EXPRESS YOURSELF
Create space where to express your inner self, your true self and bring a sense of freedom to your life.
Today we focus more on the shoulders and neck and we'll play with some throat-clearing breathing exercises.
DAY 7: TRUST YOURSELF
Following your internal compass, your intuition, is a sure path to long-term happiness.
In this practice we'll bring attention to your third-eye, the base for your intuition, as we combine poses that require you to trust yourself with those that allow you to surrender to yourself. We close this class, and the 7-day Self-Love Challenge with a So Hum meditation.
TAKE TIME TO REFLECT
Take a moment to reflect on the time you've spent in the last seven days and on what you've accomplished.

You've just spent 7 DAYS IN A ROW practicing yoga.
You've just spent 7 DAY IN A ROW and journaling and releasing negative baggage.
You've just spent 7 DAYS IN A ROW making time for yourself.
