Herbal Tea for a Body Reset

If you enjoy a nice cup of tea, why not try one that is not only delicious, but can help heal your body and mind as well? In the Spring, this means using herbs that are in season during this time of year and offer a nice refreshing taste. Here are some spring herbal teas to try out.

Stinging Nettle Tea

This is not a tea people often think of year-round, but in the spring, it becomes a popular option. This is because of how well it works against seasonal allergies, which run rampant in the springtime especially. Stinging nettle is a green, leafy herb that offers an earthy flavor if you use just the herb itself. But you can flavor it with many other natural ingredients or additives, from raw honey to your preferred type of sweetener.

Chamomile

This is another healing herb that can be found year-round, but often more popular in the spring and summer months. The best way to get the most nutrients is of course to use the dried chamomile herb blossoms and boil them in water yourself. Chamomile is not only delicious, but it is relaxing and can help you sleep.

Rose

This is a perennial plant that has delicious, beautiful, and healing herbs. The rosehip tea uses the hips of a rose plant, which has more of a fruity flavor, but you can also get rose tea as well. This is excellent when used alone, but you can also get it mixed with other types of tea leaves like hibiscus or chamomile.

Hibiscus

The tea leaves from the hibiscus flower create a darker red color of tea and tastes very similar to cranberries. It is a nice fruity tea for the springtime, whether you have it alone or get a flavored version like strawberry or apple. Make yourself a nice hot cup of hibiscus tea, or on a hot spring day, go for an iced version.
